Planetary Highpoint Hike

Get a sense of the solar system’s scale as you scale Arkansas’ highpoint with a park interpreter as you enter Total Eclipse weekend at Mount Magazine State Park! This giant scale model will illuminate Earth's size relative to its planetary neighbors, as well as distances between each planet. Expect somewhat uneven terrain on a mild 170-foot incline. Seasonally appropriate attire, drinking water, sturdy hiking shoes, insect repellent are all highly recommended.
